Mark attended Ballard High School and went on to graduate from Westport High School in ’81. He was a talented football player, playing both offense and defense. After graduating high school, he immediately joined the family business, Ignition Service and Supply Co, and ran the company alongside his brother, John, for over 20 years. He then switched gears and found his true calling in Real Estate. He excelled for the last decade at Semonin Realtors as a top-producing real estate agent, and gained countless clients who became friends.
He loved God, his beautiful wife, Staci, who never left his side and fought fiercely for him through the end, his two wonderful daughters, Taylor Karimi (Shane) and Madison Lewis, his two gorgeous grandchildren, Raelan Potter Karimi and Knox Lewis Karimi, his most generous and loving sister, Lynda Patterson, his fur babies, Cash and Piper, his cousins, and his army of loyal friends.
Mark had many passions. To name just a few - family (especially his grandbabies), friends, golf, classic rock, a great glass of bourbon, and making people laugh. Most recently, he became enamored with discovering his family lineage and legacy. This quest led him and Staci through West Virginia to Lewisburg, where they celebrated their 12th anniversary in June.
Awaiting him in heaven with open arms are his mother, Betty Lou Lewis (“Lulu”), his brother, John Conrad Lewis, his father, Henry John Lewis IV (“Jack”), his brother-in-law, Michael Patterson, and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.
Mark is loved and adored by so many, and he made an impression on everyone he met. He will be forever missed and never forgotten.
Guests are invited to attend a memorial visitation from 11am - 6pm on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at Arch L. Heady & Son at Westport Village. 7410 Westport Rd., Louisville KY 40222.
