Margaret (Peggy) V. Peak, age 94, died peacefully on July 9, 2024 in Plano, Texas. She lived in Louisville most of her life. She graduated from Catherine Spalding University, and was employed by the state as a social worker.
Peggy was active in the Kentucky Council for the Blind and was an avid Texas Ranger fan, listening to almost every game. She delighted in winning a friendly wager with her children and grandchildren. She is currently in heaven playing cards with family and friends listening to country music and Jimmy Buffet songs.
She is preceded in death by her parents Garner and Nellie Vallandingham and her husband, Frank Peak. She is survived by her children: Jim Peak (Bettie), Debbie Higgs (Max) and Rick Peak (Lorraine) and well as her grandchildren, Jason Peak (Dene), Jefferson Peak (Lesley), Molly MIksch (Dan), Becky Jackson, and Cindy Martinez (Dustin). She had 3 great grandchildren, Adyson, Alex and Noah.
