Larry Gene Yadon

Larry Gene Yadon, 73, of McDaniels, KY, passed away on April 15, 2010, at his home with his loving wife by his side. He was a native of Louisville, had attended Palmyra United Methodist Church in Indiana, and was a retired electrician for Marine Electric. He was also a member of IBEW 369.

He was preceded in death by his father, Oscar Yadon; brother, Bob Yadon and his grandmother, Vietta Watson.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 32 years, Laura Carter Yadon; cherished daughter, JoEtta Elizabeth Yadon (Tiffany Cronin); his precious mother, Mattie Mae Yadon; his beloved sisters, Betty King, Lois George (Ray), Fay McClurkin (Tommy), Susan Thompson (Don); his loyal pet, Coty Joe; 25 nieces and nephews, untold great-nieces and nephews, and numerous friends.

His Celebration of Life service will be held on Monday, April 19, 2010, at 2 p.m. at the Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Chapel, 4400 Bardstown Road, with interment in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be on Sunday, April 18th from 12-8 p.m. and Monday from 10 a.m. till service time at the funeral home.
