Larry Eugene Walden, 84, a beloved father, grandfather and great-grandfather, sadly left our world on June 28, 2024, in the sanctuary of his home in Simpsonville, Kentucky. He was born in Denver, Colorado in 1939 to Irene and John Walden. Larry attended Orange High School in Orange County, CA. and attended college at the University of Maryland.
Larry was a proud Veteran of the United States Air Force who served in the Vietnam era as an administrator in Libya and in Bentworth, England where he met his true love of 51 years, Patricia. Larry faithfully served the Lord and unwaveringly defended Jesus Christ on his favorite social internet platform, Quora, where he had quite a following. He was also a faithful contributor to his church and organizations that supported women and children in need. Larry will be remembered as a man with a sense of humor who greatly loved his family, our country, and our heavenly Father.
Larry was preceded in death by his beloved wife and daughter, Patricia Walden and Teresa Walden, and his parents, John and Irene Walden. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Miranda and James Ramser, granddaughter Amber Allen, grandsons Branden Allen and Jesse Walden, great-granddaughters Chelsea Allen and Isabelle Jones, sister Kathy Walker, and brother Danny Walden.
On July 11, 2024, in Radcliff, KY, Larry will be laid to rest and committed to our Lord at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central. There he will be presented with military honors for his commitment and sacrifice to his country.
