Kenneth Lee McCoy

Kenneth was born on July 27, 1958 in Barren County, Kentucky to parents, Cecil McCoy & Carol Crawhorn. He was a former Lab Tech for D.D. Williamson, where he was integral in helping to craft the caramel colorization for things such as Coke & Pepsi products. He had a passion for motorcycles, especially riding with his wife, son and brother. He loved his U of L Cardinals, a fan of all things Louisville Sports related. He also loved horses, Conway Twitty & country music, particularly older country. Kenny was very fun & outgoing & would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. He loved spending time with his family and friends, especially his granddaughter, Kendra.

His parents, Cecil & Carol McCoy; wife, Darlene McCoy; & sister, Sheila Holmes, precede Kenny in his passing.

Left to cherish his memory is children, Tasha (Patrick) Sims & Christopher McCoy; granddaughter, Kendra Sims; brother, Ronnie McCoy; many nieces, nephews; plus a host of close family & friends to mourn his passing.

Per his wishes, Kenneth will be laid to rest in a Private Service in the Garden of Christus of the Evergreen Cemetery & Garden Mausoleums.

In lieu of flowers & customary expressions of sympathy, memorial donations can be made at the request of the family to the Wounded Warrior Project.
