Dad I miss you so much!!! My heart hurts. But I know you are not suffering anymore. I love you and miss you. Kiss Mom for me.❤️

Being the only granddaughter to papaw Bray meant I was rotten. He had one daughter and one granddaughter and my aunt was queen but I was queen jr.  I did absolutely no wrong to either of my grandparents.  My papaw was funny- I loved that chuckle of his- it always made me laugh.  I have a million memories of papaw and growing up as his grandkid. He loved us all unconditionally for sure. I’m going to miss him. 

Kenny was the best Father-in-law I could ever wish for; he will always have a special place in my heart. I enjoyed all the great times sharing a story over an ice-cold beer (Bud Light of course). He gave me the best wife/gift (his daughter Cathy) that I could ever want. Kenny was a very kind man to me as well as to others. I still recall the smells and taste we all got when Kenny would fry up chicken feet and thin cut potato chips in his backyard and the fish fry’s in our back yard. As I reflect back, I recall when we were at the Castaway, he always asked the bartender to reach way back into the back of the cooler to get that extra cold one.  Kenny always had advice on how to garden and can vegetables. Christmas was always special seeing him giving out C-notes to all of his grand-kids and buying them plenty of holiday food with a ham, and fruit, snacks etc. I especially liked relying on him when placing our horse racing bets during the Derby while we lived in Texas placing our wagers at Lone Star Park. Fortunately for me during his last living days we’d enjoy a mid-afternoon Bud Light or two together and talk politics and how we could fix all the craziness in today’s world. We made his last days as comfortable and painless as possible. Kenny genuinely touched many lives and left quite a legacy and with that you’ll be greatly missed.   

Dad not sure how I’m gonna keep going everyday without you. But I know God will give me the strength. I will miss our long talks and short ones too.  I will miss our hard belly laughs, picking horses, casinos, going to the local pub and all the trips I wanted to go to White Castle when I came home from Texas. You were my world and always will be. I couldn’t of asked for a better Dad. I will always be your baby and brat. I know you aren’t suffering anymore and finally with Mom again. I love and miss you both.

Glad I got to meet you.  You we’re such a kind man with great stories and good advice.  I wish I got to meet you sooner.  

Kenny was an amazing person always happy cut my hair 20 plus years then cut my 6 boys hair for years always happy to give out his tomatoes he was very proud of his tomatoes such a sad loss he will be truly missed by so many people we lost a great friend but heaven gained an angel I'm sure he's already trying to pick the best spot available to start planting lol may god bless his family in this time of sorrow

Ken made everyone laugh. I worked with him at Shady Park Barber Shop for almost 18 years. He talked about his kids, wife , his tomato plants too.  Lol.  He was a hard working family man.  He was a tough ole bird… good sense of humor about life..He missed his wife so much.  I know he is lighting up heaven like he did the earth. Rip with your wife forever in paradise Ken.  Love u buddy. Until we meet again
