Thompson, Joseph Edgar, 85, entered into eternal rest on April 13, 2015. Joseph was an Army Veteran of the Korean War and retired from Foster Derring. He enjoyed playing bingo and bocce ball.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Agnes Marie Langdon; brother, Jimmy Thompson; and stepson, Philip Ingram.
Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Pam Chesher (David); son, Kenneth Hermer (Eilish); 5 grandchildren, Eric (Casye), Brandon, Christopher, Conor, and Caitriona; and 1 great grandson, Noah Chesher.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday at 10 am at Evergreen Funeral Home Dignity Chapel. Visitation will be Friday from 2pm to 7pm at the funeral home. Burial at Evergreen Cemetery.
Memorial donations in memory of Joseph can be made to the Wounded Warriors Project. Envelopes can be received at the funeral home.
