John Harlan Womack Jr., 67, of Louisville, passed away August 4, 2022. John was an avid fan and supporter of the University of Louisville. He was a 1973 graduate of DuPont Manual High School and a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University. He was an employee of Jefferson Special Police.
John was preceded in death by his mother, Ora Lee Daley; father, John Harlan Womack Sr.; and his sister, Donna Womack. He is survived by his sister, Connie Whitehouse(David); nephews, Richard Hurt(Megan) and Scott Womack(Jamie); great-nephews, Chandler Womack, Dean Womack, and Everett Hurt; and a great-niece, Paige Hurt.
A memorial service will be held at 2pm on Friday, August 19, 2022 at Evergreen Funeral Home. Visitation will be 12pm-2pm that Friday at the funeral home.
