Johnny was born on February 2, 1941 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late, Henry & Leonard Gladys Tingle.
Johnny served in the US Army, he then worked for the Louisville Courier Journal, retiring after 33 years of dedicated service.
Left to cherish Johnny's memory are his three sisters, Maxine Copley (Earl), Mary E. Gas, Gertrude McClaskey and a host of loving nieces, nephews and dear friends.
A visitation for Johnny will be held on Monday, December 23, 2024 from 12 p.m. - 3 p.m. at Evergreen Funeral Home, 4623 Preston Highway, Louisville, Kentucky 40213. Johnny will be laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery.
