John T. Condron died peacefully, Monday, the 5th of December at the age of 80. He was born in Clifton, New Jersey to parents John and Emma Condron. He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Emma Condron, Brother, Ted Condron and Sister, Mary Riedel.
John’s memory will forever be cherished and carried on by his beloved wife of 57 ½ years Sarah Condron, and daughter Jennifer Condron, and son Doug Condron.
John loved his country and was a proud member of the United States Air Force. While in the Air Force he met the love of his life, Sarah, on a weekend excursion in Paris, France. They would have celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary in April 2023. John was a dedicated and loving husband and father. John always put his family first and did all that he could to provide them with the support they needed to succeed. He loved sports and cheering on the University of Louisville Cardinals.
John welcomed retirement after a 30 year career at General Electric. He was a skilled handyman and had the unique ability to make or fix any and everything. He had countless hobbies that he was passionate about from painting, coaching softball, cubs scout leader to flying his planes at the Flying Field. John was a loyal friend and enjoyed his time with the guys every Thursday morning at Bob Evans. John was of Christian faith and was an active member of Buechel Park Baptist Church.
John has touched so many lives with his genuine kindness, generosity and loving spirit. He will be missed beyond measure.
John is survived by his loving wife Sarah and his two children Jennifer and Doug. His nephew Jeff Wahking; niece Diane Tugel (Max); great nieces Rebekah Wahking (Stephen), Mariah Pickett (Ryan), great nephews Jeffrey Scott Whaking (Baylee), Daniel Tugel; cousins Wendy Jo Tesseneer (Rodney) and so many dear friends that he made along the way.
A visitation for John will be held at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Tuesday, December 13th, 2022 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. A brief visitation will take place at Buechel Park Baptist Church on Wednesday, December 14th, 2022 at 11 am followed by the funeral service at 12 pm.
