She was a bus driver for over 29 years for JCPS. She was a homemaker, devout catholic, and the organist for over 25 years at Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church, member of the Friendship Club at Saint Peter the Apostle and retired member of the choir.
She is survived by her children, Jackie Pryor (Eric), Tom Wheatley (Karen) and Mike Wheatley. Also, left to cherish her memory are seven grandchildren, Heather Chandler, Stephanie Walston, Nicole Duggins, Thomas Wheatley III, Jamie Wheatley, David Wheatley and Lakota Wheatley; Great Grandchildren, James, Michael, Trenton, Taylor, Addison, Colten, Sadie; two great, great grandchildren, Riverlyn and Gage.
A visitation for Johanna will be held Tuesday, October 1 from 2 to 8 at Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Highway. The funeral mass will occur Wednesday, October 2, at 11:00 AM at Saint Peter the Apostle, 5431 Johnsontown Road. Burial will occur immediately following at Highland Memory Gardens.
