Joan Evelyn Wethington

Joan E. Wethington, was a woman who loved her Jesus and her people. She did that with her whole being and did it extremely well. She had many loving friends and was celebrated by those in her circle. Her husband, Denzil, was the star of her show and she loved him large. Quick behind that man were her two children Rick Wethington (Jackie) and Vickie Hall (Ricky), which she would be fast to check you on if you said anything less than, about them. Grandchildren, Brian (Jessica) & Brad (Angela) Wethington, Eric (Tori) Hall, Chelsey (Caleb) Garza, lit up her face and made her so very proud she adored them and they admired her as well. Step grandchildren, Kristian (Adrian) Givens, Denny Thompson (Claudia Mort), six great-grandchildren and two step great grandchildren all were dear to her. But if you talked to her long you would realize her focus was her Jesus, and if you don't know Him, it would be her desire that you find Him, follow Him, and join her in eternity.

She will be missed.

Visitation for Joan will be held at Evergreen Funeral Home, 4623 Preston Hwy, Louisville, KY 40213 on Tuesday, November 26, 2024 from 2:00pm to 8pm and on Wednesday, November 27, 2024 from 9:00am – 10:00am. The funeral will be at the same location at 10:00am on Wednesday, November 27, 2024.
