Jessie Mae (Lawson) Greathouse, 73, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, May 8, 2024. Jessie was born on November 4, 1950 to late parents Dixie Mae (Short) Lawson and Jesse Lawson (Verta Mae).
She had retired from Jewish Hospital. She loved her grandkids, attending bingo, scratch offs, her kitties, granddog Tank, and especially the color pink.
Jessie is preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Geraldine Glass.
Left to cherish her memory include her only son, Sam Martin (Tammy); brother-in-law, Larry Glass (Sylvia); two granddaughters, Samantha (Matthew), Shelby (Clayton); nephew, Larry Dean (Charlotte); niece, Sherry (Adam); cousins, David (Janet), Sharon (Mike); and many others.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 from 10am-1pm at Advantage Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 10907 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY 40272. Service will be at 1pm with a burial to follow at Bethany Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made out to American Brain Tumor Associations.
