Jennifer L. Head

Jennifer Lynn Head, 47, of Louisville passed away Tuesday from multiple complications at Jewish Hospital with her loving family by her side. She had been a Project Manager for The Community Builders Inc., former Vice President of the Louisville Real Estate Development Company, Project Manager for The Housing Partnership Inc. and Director of Sales and marketing for the Louisville Urban League.

Jennifer graduated from the University of Illinois with a Bachelor of Arts Degree. She received the Business First "Forty under Forty" leadership award and was a member of the Louisville Speakers Forum. She was a Brookings Institution Presenter.

Preceded in death by her father, John C. Head. Left to cherish her memory are her mother, Patricia "Pat" Head; sister, Beth Head; brother, John C. Head Jr.; special friend, Mike Shearer; three aunts, Marian Boone, Virginia Moore and Emma O'Daniel (Paul); two uncles, James Osbourne and Thomas Osbourne along with numerous cousins and friends.

A memorial mass for Jennifer will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 16, 2011 at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 7813 Shelbyville Road. Visitation will be held in the parlor of Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home at Westport Village from 4-7 p.m. on Friday.
