She was born in Louisville, Kentucky, to Lee and Georgia Stone. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who brought warmth and joy to all who knew her.
Janet is survived by her two sons, William Hill (Theresa) and Christopher Hill (Ashly), as well as her grandchildren Starr, Angel, Jaxsen Coyle, Damion Seng, and Aidan, Cheyenne, and Eleanora Hill. She is also survived by her beloved sister, Jacquelyn.
Janet was preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Georgia Stone, and her sister, Kathy Gerber.
Janet’s kind and loving spirit will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
A visitation for Janet will be held on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Wednesday from 9 AM to her service time at Advantage Funeral Home Hardy Chapel located at 10907 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY 40272. Her funeral service will take place on Wednesday at 1:00 PM. Following the funeral, a graveside service will be at Bethany Memorial Cemetery, 10917 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY 40272.
