He retired from the Dietary Department with Norton's Audubon. He was a former member of Walnut Street and Harvest Baptist Churches.
He is survived by his sister, Kathy Tabler (Doug); his brother, Steve Sweeney (Jackie); and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
His funeral will be private.
