ROLAND, JAMES H. "PEWEE" "UNCLE SONNY," 83, of Louisville, passed away on Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at Suburban Hospital. He had retired from the old South Central Bell Company. James was a member of Brown Memorial Church and the Thoroughbred Elks Lodge # 1598. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Laura Blevins Roland. He is survived by a sister, Stella Miller; a special friend, Maggie Brown and several nieces and nephews. His Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2011 at noon at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Chapel, 4400 Bardstown Road with entombment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be Saturday from 10 a.m. to time of his service.
