He was a retired line foreman for Ford Motor Company and a member of the Bible Believers Baptist Church in Munfordville.
Mr. King was preceded in rest by his parents, James King Sr. and Dorothy King; and a daughter, Regina King.
He is survived by his wife of 12 years, Brenda King; two daughters, Tonya Coy (Kent) and Monica LaCroix (James); a stepson, Ben Killman (Anastacia); eight grandchildren, Kayla Ernspiker, Kamelia LaCroix, Heaven Wisdom, Brooklynn Wisdom, Evelyn Baxter, James Baxter, Ethan Baxter and Christian; and four great-grandchildren, Kamryn, Karlee, Mila and Isaac.
His funeral will be on Monday, May 6th, at 12 noon at the Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Highway, with interment following in Wilkerson Temple Church Cemetery, in Munfordville. Visitation will be on Sunday from 2pm until 8pm.
