Hugh Mason Asher Jr.

Hugh Mason Asher Jr., 65, of Louisville, Kentucky unexpectedly passed away on Sunday, January 1, 2023. He was a devoted son, brother, uncle, great uncle, and friend. He loved being a bus driver for Jefferson County Public Schools. He enjoyed playing volleyball and bowling. Hugh was an avid UofL fan and had a wonderful time tailgating with his fellow Cardinal fans!

Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Thelma and Hugh Asher, Sr.; siblings, Lisa Hernon (Tim), Melissa Carson; nieces and nephews, Nick Hernon (Meg), Krista Gibbs (Chris), Alex Carson (Amanda Gallagher); great nieces and nephews, Hailey, Isaiah, Zach, Riley; partner, Rob Hallgarth; and many other friends and neighbors.

Visitation for Hugh will be held Saturday, January 7, 2023 from 12:00pm to 3:00pm at Arch L. Heady and Son Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8519 Preston Highway, Louisville, Kentucky 40219, followed by a funeral service at 3:00pm. The family has chosen cremation after the service.
