Born to the late Alvin Joseph Lyon and Mary Josephine Stockton, Henry is also preceded in death by his siblings, Peggy, Charlie, Sissy, Eva, and Johanna.
Here to carry on his memory is his adoring wife of 66 years Deanna Lyon (Terreberry); his children Henry "Bennie" Lyon, Denise Silverhorn, Kevin Lyon (Terrell), and Holly Wilkerson (Barry); 9 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; his siblings Alvin "Bub" Lyon, Tom Lyons (Barbara), and Jim Lyon (Eva); and a host of nieces and nephews.
Tink lived his life devoted to God, his loving wife, family, friends, and the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed time with family and friends fishing, golfing, and working on charitable projects with the KofC. He was a graduate of St. Vincent Academy in Union County, Kentucky, and a retiree of GE Appliance Park.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, from 4:00 PM - 8: 00 PM at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville KY 40218. The Rosary will be led by the Knights of Columbus at 7:00 PM. Visitation will resume Thursday morning from 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM at St. Athanasius, 5915 Outer Loop, Louisville KY 40219, with a Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 10:00 AM in Henry's honor. Henry will be laid to rest in Resthaven Memorial Park.
