Helen A. Kehrt, 86, of Louisville, passed away April 19, 2012 at Springhurst Health & Rehab. She was born on October 30, 1925 to the late Charles and Violet Arkenberg. She was a member of Bashford Manor Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, William E. Kehrt; her son, William W. Kehrt; a sister and several brothers.
She is survived by her daughter, Sally (John) Evans; two granddaughters, Holly Griffith and Emily Laber; two great-grandsons, Jessie and Dawson; and a brother, Russell (Laverne) Arkenberg.
A celebration of her life will be conducted Monday, April, 23, 2012, at 2 pm, at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road with private burial in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 12-2 on Monday at the funeral home.
