Helen Louise Helton, 92, of Louisville, passed away January 26, 2021. She was born November 17, 1928 in Owensboro, Kentucky to the late Vernon H. and Bessie Conner Young. She was a member of Penile Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Helton; sister, Hazel Lam; and her brother, Vernon C. Young. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Barbara Barnes(Anthony) and Brenda Wright; grandchildren, Shannon Amundson(Ed), Julie Keith(Chris), Adam Wright(Ajla), and Courtney Cuyler(Rusty); great-grandchildren, Noah, Joshua, Robert, Silas, Rosalee, Bentley, and Landon; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service and visitation will be private, however, the funeral service will be live streamed via Facebook page Evergreen Funeral Home & Evergreen Cemetery beginning at 11:45am Wednesday, February 3, 2021. Burial will be in Mt. Holly Cemetery in Fairdale, Kentucky. The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of Norton Audubon Hospital and Hosparus for their exceptional care. Memorial donations in her memory can be made to Penile Baptist Church.
