Helen Marie Carter, 75, of Louisville, passed away Sunday, August 15, 2010. She was a member of St. Leonard Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Johnny, Joseph, Raymond, and William Drury; and sisters, Juanita Lyons and Carolyn "Sissy" McClure. Survivors include her husband, George Carter; sons, George Carter Jr., Kirk Carter(Janice), Chris Carter (Karen), and Shawn Carter; 5 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; sister, Patricia Higgs; and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Thursday at Arch L. Heady & Son-Cralle Funeral Home, 2428 Frankfort Ave., with entombment in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3-8pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
