He was born June 10, 1941 to the late H. Harold Davis Sr. and Helen (Hazelip) Davis.
After attending Eastern High School, Hal graduated from Transylvania University in 1963. He received his Juris Doctorate from University of Kentucky in 1967.
Hal served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War. He worked as a Special Agent of the Federal Bureau of Investigation for 28 years, serving in Dubuque, Iowa, Philadelphia and Louisville. He was a HAM Radio Operator (KA4SDU) and communicated with hundreds of other HAMS throughout the world. He loved traveling, photography, riding his scooter and spending time with his beloved dogs.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 52 years, Mary Anne (Martin) Davis; two daughters, Charlotte Bischoff (Corey) and Dr. Emily Bewley (Jeremy); five grandchildren, Emmalynn and Brady Bischoff and Davis, Evan and Charlie Bewley.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 27, 2022 from 10 AM-12 PM followed by the funeral service at 12:00 PM at Arch L. Heady & Son at Westport Village, 7410 Westport Rd. Burial will follow at Cave Hill Cemetery.
