She was a beloved mother, grandmother, friend and Christian. Her faith in Christ guided her throughout her life and she shared that faith with her family and friends. She was a member of Shively Christian Church and a graduate of Valley High School in 1959. Georganna was an accomplished medical transcriptionist and Dr. Steve Aaron's office manage for several years.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, volunteering at church, playing games, creating cards and poems, traveling, theatre arts, karaoke, cats, and chatting with friends. She was a great baker and created some of the most beautiful birthday cakes. Reading was her favorite pastime.
She is preceded in death by her parents George and Helen Walker and her son Nicky Ziegler.
She is survived by her sons, Danny Ziegler (Donna), George Ziegler (Sue Ellen), Craig Ziegler, her grandchildren, Valarie Moore (GJ), Jake Ziegler, Tori Reynolds (Nick), Hayley Beam (Chris), Abby Davidson (Garrett), Maggie Ziegler, Nolan Ziegler, Carley Ziegler great grandchildren, London Luckett, Colton Ziegler, Finley Reynolds, Levi Davidson, Ethan Moore and Ella Moore and her cat, Sweetie Pie.
Georganna’s funeral will be Thursday, April 6, 2023 at 11 AM at Heady-Hardy Funeral Home 7710 Dixie Hwy. Burial will follow at Bethany Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 5, 2023 at Heady-Hardy Funeral Home 7710 Dixie Hwy. from 4-8 PM and Thursday from 9 to the service time. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Hospice of Louisville and American Parkinson Disease Association (APDA)
