Gary W. Richardson Sr.

Richardson, Gary W. Sr., 72, passed away March 31, 2018. He was a Vietnam Veteran having served his country in the United States Army and retired from Ashland/Marathon as a truck driver. Gary enjoyed fishing, playing pool, being a jokester, and his weekly White Castle meetings with the guys.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis Ann Richardson; and mother, Mary E. Hardwick-Miller.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Bonnie Riggs (Daniel), Gary W. Richardson Jr., and Mary A. Martin; grandchildren, Daniel Riggs Jr., Brandon Lee Riggs, and Ashley Nicole Auxier (Timmy); great-grandchildren, Nick, Faith, Anna, Landan, Dalton, Bentley, Hunter, Braxton, Luke, and Riley; and siblings, Travis Hardwick, Lloyd Hardwick, and Sharon Lynn Hardwick-Wells.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at 2 pm at Evergreen Funeral Home Dignity Chapel with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2 pm-8 pm at the funeral home.
