Gary Lee Leitner

Gary Lee Leitner, 76, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Saturday March 25, 2023. He was a loving husband to Carleen Leitner (Zilich) for 57 years, and a beloved father, Papa and Pops.

He was preceded in death by his parents George Leitner and Clara Culver, brother George Leitner, and great grandson, Jaxson Fullen.

Left to cherish his memory, in addition to his wife Carleen, are his loving children Lisa Nolley (Michael), Jennifer Leitner, Kerrie Fullen (Kevin) and Starr Steinbach (Bryon). Grandchildren, Jordan Weiter (Zack), Peyton Nolley, Gabriel Riggs (Kelsey), Bailey Fullen, Nick Fullen (April), Brandon Fullen, Joshua Steinbach and Emily Steinbach. Great grandchildren, Elijah, Sophie, Finnegan, Sadie, Easton, Sloane, and Lyla.

Gary was retired from Rohm & Haas and was an active member of St. Stephen United Church of Christ. He enjoyed University of Kentucky athletics and the Kansas City Chiefs. He loved traveling, being outdoors and spending quality time with family and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, April 1, 11 am at Evergreen Funeral Home. Visitation will be Friday from 12 pm till 8 pm at the funeral home.
