Ben is survived by his daughter, Jennifer R. Foley (Kevin), his son Brian Marquez-Russell (Arian), and the grandchildren he cherished so much, Alex and Katelyn Foley. He is also survived by his companion Donna Devine, and his brothers and sisters - Gayle Nunn, Kathy Russell, Tom Russell, Janice Hardy, and Dennis Russell.
He is preceded in death by his sister Carol Reed.
Ben’s favorite thing to do was spend time with family and friends, and he never met a stranger. During his full and active life, he served in the U.S. Navy for eight years, worked at Naval Ordnance until his retirement at age 50, then worked as a contractor for Raytheon. He loved to travel and enjoyed long drives with great conversation through the country with his family. He was extremely handy and could tackle almost any home project, but most loved sharing his skill and expertise with those in need of help. He had a huge personality and loved to laugh. All who knew him will never forget him.
With respect for his wishes, funeral services will not be held. Instead, a private celebration of life will be held for close family and friends.
