Esther Daphene Turner, 83, of Louisville, passed away April 22, 2018. She was a member of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church and Eastern Star.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Beechem Turner; daughter, Patricia Ashley; son, Ronald Ashley; father, Howard Crain; mother, Donnie Hunt; sisters, Mae Chism and Mildred Nugent; and brother, Berlin Meredith.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Kathie Nelson(Ken); children by marriage, David Turner(Michelle), Sherry Trosper(Mitchell), Judy Hunt(Danny), and Janet Carmack(H); daughter-in-law, Diane Huber(John Zufelt); grandchildren, Patty Reed(Ryan), Shannon Tierney(Kyle), Sean Ashley(Christine Lester); great-grandchildren, Mattilyn, Allisyn, and Blake Reed and Isabella Tierney; 8 grandchildren by marriage; sisters, Evelyn Eaton and Katie Gaines; brothers, Elby Hunt(Robin Voll) and Steve Hunt(Regana); brother-in-law, Henry Nugent; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be 12 noon Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at Evergreen Funeral Home with interment in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8pm Tuesday.

Memorial donations can be made to Wesley Manor.
