Elizabeth Ann Ackerman, age 89, passed away on Wednesday, November 13, 2024. Elizabeth was born on July 10, 1935 to the late Louis and Louise Ackerman. She was a faithful member of Hikes Point Christian Church and a proud member of the Red Hats Society.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leland Robert Ackerman; and son, Darrell Ray Ackerman.
She is survived by her daughter, Lora Shannon; daughter in law, Linda Ackerman; grandchildren, Edie Ackerman (Steven Rios), Chad Cureton (Theresa) and Corey Cureton (Niki); great grandchildren, Brianna, Ayanna, Steven, Lailianna, Raiden, Brayden, Alexis, Logan and Madelyn; and a host of extended family and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 2 pm on Monday, November 18, 2024 at Evergreen Funeral Home, 4623 Preston Hwy. Visitation will be on Monday from 11 am until the time of service at the funeral home. Mrs. Ackerman will be laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery.
