Dorothy C Rhodes

Born in Bronston, Kentucky, she was the daughter of John and Pearl Flynn. She graduated from Spencerian College and was employed at Citizens Fidelity Bank as an assistant to the Vice President of the Bank.

She was a member of Southeast Christian Church. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and caring for her family. She will be remembered for her strong Christian faith, work ethic, and loyalty to her family.

She is survived by her husband: Larry Gene Rhodes, children: Kim Rhodes and Dr. Kelly Rhodes-Stark (Dr. Steven Stark), grandchildren: Jeremy McMahan, Joshua McMahan, Hillary Rose, and Daniel Stark, great grandchildren: Brendan McMahan, Ian McMahan, Brayson McMahan, Landon McMahan, Eli Calderon, and Logan Calderon. She was predeceased by her parents: John and Pearl Flynn, sister: Marilyn Brewster, brothers: John Curtis Flynn and Bob Flynn.

Visitation will be held Friday, October 20, 2023 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, KY 40218, followed by a funeral service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM with interment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. I never could thank you enough. I love you all.
