Donna Spears Wilson

Wilson, Donna Spears, 75, passed away on February 15, 2014. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Jeannette Troutman, her sister, Sheila Dillon, and second husband, Richard Wilson. She is survived by her first husband, John Spears, her daughters Lisa Spears Clark (Eddie), and Amy Metz (David), brother Jerry Troutman (Terri), nephew Dominic Dillon, and two grandsons, Jake (Liz) and Michael.

Donna graduated from Eastern High School and attended Centre College. She was a former member of the Younger Women's Club and a member of Broadway Baptist Church, the Louisville Women's Club, and Owl Creek Country Club. She was devoted to caring for others and donated her time and talents through volunteer work. She served on the board of directors of the Kids Center, Metro United Way, and the Deaf Oral School. She worked with the PTA in numerous capacities, serving as PTA president at Norton Elementary and Ballard High School.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, February 18 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm at Arch L. Heady and Son at Westport Village and on Wednesday, February 19 from 1:00 to 2:00 pm at Broadway Baptist Church, 4000 Brownsboro Road, with a celebration of life at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Broadway Baptist , and burial in Cave Hill Cemetery.
