Donna Jean Porter

She was born on May 21, 1945 in Louisville, Kentucky to parents’ Harry F. Ayers & Lillian M. Swintcher. She was a Receptionist for the Department of Parks and Recreation retiring after 30 plus years of service. Earlier in life Donna enjoyed riding motorcycles with her late husband, Carlos.

Her parents’ Harry F. & Lillian M. Ayers; husband, Carlos J. Porter; step – daughter, Pam Porter – Galloway; & half – brother, Allen James, precede Donna in her passing.

Left to cherish her memory is her siblings, Yolanda (Thomas) Baker, Lonnie (Donna) Ayers, Harry (Tina) Ayers, Jr., Dawn Ayers, Jacqueline Ayers, Vincent Ayers; step – children, Laura Logsdon, Steve Porter & Charlie Porter; plus a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at 10:0 a.m. in the Dignity Chapel of the Evergreen Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery & Garden Mausoleums where she rest for eternity alongside her husband. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 3, 2021 from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. also at the Evergreen Funeral Home.
