Wheeler, David, 85, entered into eternal rest on January 21, 2015. David was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Johnny Wheeler and Eugene Wheeler.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Eljean Wheeler; son, Kenny Wheeler (Margie); daughters, Peggy Wheeler, Doris Kron (Gearld); step-daughters, Jennifer Toll (Rocky), Donna Radabaugh (Johnny), Tina Lynch (Ronnie) and Cara Congleton; sister, Mildred McGohon (Bill); 10 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday at 2pm at Evergreen Funeral Home Dignity Chapel. Visitation will be Saturday from 3pm-8pm at the funeral home. Entombment at Evergreen Cemetery will be private.
Memorial contributions in memory of David can be directed to the Diabetes Society, Alzheimer’s Association, and Hosparus of Louisville.
