Damion Deshawn Allen

Allen, Damion Deshawn, 22, a native of the Louisville area, passed away Friday, June 9, 2017. He is preceded in death by his father, Daniel Wimberley. Damion was known to be an open minded, laid back, kindhearted individual that was well respected by his community and peers. Many words can describe who Damion was as a person; he had a “take the bull by the horns” type of personality. He was extremely trustworthy, gentle, and peaceful. He loved to go snowboarding on the mountains in Colorado; he was an animal lover; and was always up for trying new things. He will forever be missed by all that knew him!

Left behind to cherish his memory are his mother, Misty Allen (Dion); sisters, Ebonee, Alajah, and Dominique; and brothers, Daniel and Praekwon. Also cherished by his grandparents, Robert and Lois Allen and Bonnie and David Lantz; nephew, Kameron Sauer; uncles, Robert Allen (Diana), Christpher Rollier (Felicia) and Jason Rollier (Kyla); and several other extended family members, friends and loved ones.

A celebration of life is scheduled for Thursday, June 15, 2017 at 10:00am at Arch L Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville Kentucky, with burial to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 from 2:00pm until 8:00pm.
