Cody ray, no matter what I write it could never explain how much I miss you, think about you, cry about you. It still doesn't seem real. Feels like just last week we was standing outside talking. I have your picture on my mirror so when I wake every morning I see your smile. I love you so much.

Cody, it's been almost a month and yet it seems unreal. I can't believe your gone. It feels like I should still be able to pick up the phone and call you. I looked at some pictures of me and you together and had visions of you in your Bigfoot power wheel and me running beside you and your little butt laughing and trying to outrun me. I also remember putting you in a blanket or a box and sliding down the steps, you were so happy and looked up to me so much. I sometimes wish we were back there in those good times, before we grew up and had to deal with all the tragedy and struggles we had to face growing up. I felt compelled to write a short message. The thought of Cody walking into my Head Start classroom at Luhr Elementary keeps going through my mind. Cody in his leather jacket and blonde hair "mullet" still to this day is in my mind. After reading some of the entries I can tell Cody had grown into a fine young man and by the pictures could tell he loved his daughter very much. 
 I want to extend my deepest sympathy to you and your family.
