Clyde Marvin Wagner, 81, of Louisville, Kentucky went to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 11, 2024. He was born in Mt. Vernon Kentucky to Virgil and Mary Elizabeth Wagner on April, 7, 1943. Clyde served his country in the US Air Force and retired from GE after 37 years of service. He enjoyed watching Westerns and NASCAR. He was a collector of all kinds of toys.
Clyde was preceded in death by his loving wife of 53 years, Ida Mae; and his parents.
Left to cherish his memory are his sons, Timothy W. Wagner (fiance AnneMarie Harvey), Michael D. Wagner, both of Louisville; grandchildren, Jessica Stout (Jared), Amantha Cook (Colin), Christian Wagner; great granddaughter, Sophie Mae; siblings, Carl N. Wagner (Rissie), Anita Gayle Evans; siblings-in-law, Deanna Bullock, Jenny McCarty (Jim); extended family member, Asif and Lisa Qureshi; and many dear friends.
Visitation for Clyde will be Wednesday, July 17, 2024 from 3pm until 7pm at Arch L Heady Funeral Home, 8519 Preston Hwy. 40219. The Funeral Service will be Thursday at 11am at the funeral home. Burial will immediately follow at Highland Memory Gardens.
Memorial Donations in Clyde's honor should be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
