Charles A. “Charlie” Parrish, 68, passed away on July 25, 2013. He was born on July 29, 1944 in Canmer, Kentucky.
Charlie graduated from Memorial High School in Hardyville, Kentucky in 1962. He joined the Air Force that same year. He retired from Aegon in 2000. Charlie was a member of Salt River Masonic Lodge #180 F&AM, Mt. Washington United Methodist Church and Alcoholics Anonymous. He enjoyed fishing and target shooting.
Charlie was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Parrish and Alta Russell.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Margaret “Peggy”; his daughter, Yvette (John) Larson; and his sister, Brenda (Jim) Dudderar.
Funeral services will be conducted at noon on Tuesday July 30, 2013 at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 2-8 on Monday and 10-12 on Tuesday at the funeral home.
