Charles Thomas "Tommy" Baker Sr.

Charles Thomas Baker, Sr “Tommy”, of Fairdale KY born August 4, 1936, went to his Heavenly Home on December 23, 2021. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, member of FBC of Fairdale, a Kentucky Colonel, and owner of a successful trucking company for 30 plus years. A devoted husband of 66 years to Margaret Rayhill Baker. He also leaves to cherish his memory 2 daughters and 1 daughter-in-law: Lori Baker, Rhonda Baker-Logsdon (Kurt), and Diane Baker. Grandchildren: Chad, Brad (Brittany), Brittani (Michael), Jarod, Carlie (Noah), Blaine and Izzy. Great grandchildren: Gage and Autumn. Brothers: John, Michael (Linda), Steve (Darlene), Rick (Donna). Sisters: Wanda, Linda, and Kathy (Steve). And a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Catherine Baker, beloved son Chuck Baker and beloved granddaughter Michaela Walls. He was a greatly respected and very generous man. He had a soft spot for underprivileged children. He will be missed immeasurably. The Funeral Service will be Friday, December 31, 2021 at 12:30pm at Arch L Heady Okolona, 8519 Preston Hwy 40219. Burial will follow at Mt. Holly Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 11:00 am until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
