Carol Sue Walker

Mrs. Walker was born November 5, 1936 in Greensburg, KY to her parents Cova and Dee Landis Lile, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Henry Kelly Walker. Mr. Walker was a retired Senior Master Sergeant for the United States Air Force.

She was the long-time activities director at Jefferson Manor, was a big U of L basketball and Trinity High School football fan, loved her crossword puzzles, and was a member of the Greasy Creek Baptist Church in Greensburg, KY, and regularly attended 9th and O Baptist Church here in Louisville.

Carol is survived by her daughter, Tracy Allen (Rich); grandsons, Jacob and Nickolas Allen; and her sister, Bonnie L. McCafferty (Michael Stamper).

A memorial service will be held for Carol on Saturday at Noon at the Arch L. Heady @ Resthaven Funeral Home at 4400 Bardstown Road in Louisville on Saturday, May 21, 2011. There will be no visitation. Inurnment will be in Resthaven Memorial Park.

The family wishes to extend a heartfelt "thank you" to the staff of Hosparus, who cared for Carol in her final days.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hosparus.
