Carl Ray McMichael, 82, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday Dec 23, 2023. With his loving family by his side
He is preceded in death by his father Truman McMichael, mother Frances Bayer, step father Bill (Pop Pop) Bayer, and brother Navy Captain, William S. McMichael.
Survivors include his loving wife of 59 years, Phyllis McMichael Two sons, Scott McMichael (Missy), and Todd McMichael
Two grandchildren, Clay (Michaela) and Cole McMichael
Four sisters, Bonnie Turner (Ed), Betty Larimore, Janice Dennison (Paul) & Vickie Mattingly (Gary); a sister-in-law, Valida McMichael.
Carl was retired school teacher and coach from the Jefferson County Public School System. Advantage funeral Home Hardy Chapel has been entrusted with the arrangements.
