Carl was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth J. Allen; son, Carl Wayne Allen, Sr.; brother M. Wayne Allen; sisters Malvrie Casey and Janet Rogers; grandson, Carl W. Allen, Jr.; and parents Edward and Lyda Allen.
Left to cherish his memory are his brother, Gerald Allen (Maxine); daughters Karen E Allen and Susan K. Payne (Tim); sons Gregory S Allen (Karla) and Douglas W Wicker (Lesa), 14 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Carl was United States Navy World War ll veteran, a member of Plumb Lodge #862 and a carpenter and home builder by trade.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, July 7, 2016 at 12 pm at Evergreen Funeral Home Dignity Chapel. Visitation will be Wednesday from 2 pm-8 pm and Thursday from 10 am until the time of service, at the funeral home. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery.
