Benjamin Huff Jr.

He accepted Christ at an early age at Ebenezer Baptist Church and was baptized April 15, 1956. He was a husband, loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was an active member for over 50 years of Ebenezer Baptist Church, until his health began to decline. He served many years on the brotherhood and usher board. He was a 1955 graduate of Central High School and he worked at Ryder Truck Rental from March 18, 1957 until he retired on January 1, 1997.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings. He was the last surviving grandchild of Plez and Miranda Jackson. Memories will be cherished by his loving spouse, Ethel Hines Huff; his children, Kenneth Davis(Joyce), Tonja White(Ben), Jeffrey Huff(Karen), and Bennie Huff III(Theresa); grandchildren, Douglas D. Williams Jr., Shamika Hines Taylor, David Saunders, Tyler Huff, Michel White, Kristen Saunders, Jordan Huff, Cameron Huff, and Avery Huff; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 1pm Friday, October 28, 2022 at Ebenezer Baptist Church at 1057 S. 28th St. in Louisville, Kentucky. Visitation will be at the church from 10am-1pm. Entombment will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
