Barbara Jean Lay, 75, of New Albany, passed away October 11, 2024. She was retired from LG&E and was a member of Northside Christian Church in New Albany, IN.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, John and Margaret Fritz; and her brothers, John and Gary Fritz. She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Stephen Lay; children, Mary Potter(Rick), Valerie Thomas(Richie), and Steven Delap; stepdaughters, Missy Fell and Cynthia; 11 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday, October 17, 2024 from 11am-2pm at Evergreen Funeral Home. The funeral service will be private. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
