February 11, 2024. Cathy was born in Lincoln, NE. Mother (Betty) & Father (Bob)
moved to San Luis Obispo, CA while she was very young. Cathy attended San Luis
High School graduating in June 12, 1964. Cathy met her husband Phillip J Betts
in high school, and were soon married. Cathy and Phillip raised 2 children
Robert Betts and Lori Betts. Cathy made her career with the Department of
Corrections, Men’s Colony in the personnel office Retiring as a Supervisor.
Cathy is survived by her 2 children and 2 Grandchildren and her brother Tom Tway.
Services for Cathy will be held on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at 11:00 am at the Los
Osos Valley Memorial Park 2260 Los Osos CA. A Celebration of Life for Cathy will
be held at the “Fraternal Order of Eagles” 3650 S. Higuera St, San Luis Obispo, CA. following the
services.
