Carolyn Diane Lindbo (Phelps) was born on January 8, 1950, to George and Irene (Duncan) Phelps. After several years of health challenges and a courageous year-long battle with multiple cancers, Carolyn passed away peacefully at her home on October 2, 2024, at the age of 74.
Carolyn's greatest pride are her daughters, four unique and independent women, each with distinct personalities, yet all bound together by the deep love she had for them.
She was preceded in death by her father, George Phelps (1980); her mother, Irene Phelps (2014); her sister, Genie Parton (2021); and her beloved grand-dog, Jack (2022).
Carolyn is survived by her husband and partner of 30+ years, Kevin Leo Lindbo; her daughters, Kelli Phelps (Fresno), Kacey Vasquez and her partner Emilio (Fresno), Courtney Hinther (Lamont), and Cara Vannattan (Los Osos). She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren: Ashley Fletcher, Amber Dancliff, Kayla Hinther, Tahnee Black, Tannya Black, and her only grandson, Adrian Vasquez. Carolyn was the proud great-grandmother of Hayley, Autumn, and Adam.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to your local animal shelter or humane society in Carolyn’s honor or contributing to cancer research in hopes of finding a cure for the disease that has claimed too many loved ones.
