Lillian Behar Vash calmly passed away on February 17, 2024, surrounded by her family and caregivers, Maria and Margie.
She was born in Brooklyn, NY in 1928, married at 21, and lived in upstate NY while her husband attended college. As a devoted wife she moved to Boston so her husband could pursue an advanced degree. She later became a devoted mother to Susan, Ellen and Michael.
The family lived in Newton, MA and spent summers on Cape Cod. In 2005 she moved to Los Angeles to be closer to her children and her brother Joey living in Northern California. Lilly lived a full, active life going to theatre, movies, symphony, traveling, painting and playing MahJong with her friends.
Lilly was loved by many and will be deeply missed.
