Juan Jraider Rivas

Juan was a great student, an excellent baseball player and the ultimate PS2/PS3 gamer. He was the sweetest and funniest person you could ever encounter. He was always focused on life and what he was going to make of it. He was definitely a dreamer, but he was also a great achiever.

Juan grew up with his two older sisters, Reyna (27) and Jessica (21). Their relationship was extremely special. They grew up best friends thanks to their parents expressing the importance of siblings. They were always told, “no matter the situation, they were the only three people that would always be there for one another”.

December 2012, Juan took on his favorite role, Uncle to twin nieces. He did anything and everything for them. They loved their uncle so much; it was obvious when they embraced him with the biggest hug EVERY time they came across him.

Anyone who knew Juan, loved him; there was no reason not to. His family has memories of him to last a lifetime, but sometimes that does not feel like enough. While it is painful to know he is not physically with us, his spirit will live on forever. Love you forever, Juan. We’ll see you soon.
