January 13, 1947 - May 15, 2010
Joyce passed away peacefully at home after waging a courageous battle with lung cancer. Born in Los Angeles to her loving parents, Mimi and Len Foreman, she attended University High School and UCLA. Joyce was a very successful, creative and enterprising businesswoman who co-owned the fashion companies Foreman and Ferriday and John Murrough in the 1980's and 1990's. She developed J.J. Winters, a popular handbag company in 2006 that will serve as her legacy.
Joyce will be remembered for her boundless energy and passion for life. She exhibited a non-pareil fashion sense and her radiant beauty was special. As a testimony to her diversity, Joyce was as comfortable conducting a fashion showroom meeting as she was attending a Blackfeet American Indian rodeo in East Glacier Park, Montana. She was an amazing and refined lady who touched the lives of hundreds of friends and business associates.
Joyce was the most loving mother to Logan and the consummate wife to John. She is survived by her loving husband, John, adorable 15 year old son, Logan, stepson Layne (fiancée, Allison), devoted parents, Mimi and Len, sisters, Donna Marcus (Bob), Shelley Armstrong (Bob), niece, Kimi Stein (Brent), nephews, Brad and Blake, and cousins, Dr. Mark Weiss (Marilyn) and Kenny Weiss (Sue).
The inscription on her tombstone will read: The end is nothing; the road is all. What a beautiful journey in life Joyce traveled!
