Sheila Hayes

A a time of visitation with her family for Sheila will be held Monday, October 24, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM, followed by a celebration of her life at 11:30 AM.

Sheila Lynn Hayes, 74, of Longview, Texas went to see the Lord October 18, 2022 in her home in Longview. She was born September 6, 1948 to Curtis and Robbie Kruse.

Sheila graduated from Pine Tree High School in 1966 and later earned her degree in Cosmetology. Sheila had a strong entrepreneurial spirit and opened and ran her own beautician business styling hair for over 30 years. Her business opened the door to her true passion and calling to share the love of Christ. After retiring from her beauty shop she continued to share the love of Christ by opening a small candle shop at Trade Days in Longview and in Canton with her husband Robert.

Sheila with her husband Robert was always an integral part of the church they attended, joyously giving her love and time to show the greatness of God’s love. Sheila was gifted with the ability to befriend anyone who spoke with her. She always presented herself dressed colorfully with beautifully styled hair. She coupled this with a charismatic personality that brought joy and happiness to all around her. Sheila also donated much of her time to her family working at a local Skating rink Skateland where her children regularly attended. This also lead to her other passion, swimming in the pool at home where many weekends were spent with large groups swimming on Saturdays at her home fellowshipping and having a wonderful time with many of the parents and youth that attended and worked at the skating rink.

Sheila is survived by her husband Robert Hayes of 38 years; sons Curtis Klima, and Jeramy Hayes; Parent: Robbie Kruse; Grandchildren; Kamryn Jones, Kaylan Jones, Karlie Smith, and Brandon Hayes.
